This is a good size for travel as supplement to carry on. It is sturdy and stands on its own, adequate compartments for immediate needs. If you like to carry large items (blanket, pillow, bulky foods), this is too small. As with all Solgaard products, I appreciate minimalist packaging and re-usable wrapping (a cloth bag).
