To operate the shelving system, pack with the shelf fully extended at home.
- Open the suitcase door 90 degrees.
- Lift the shelf up and hang from the suitcase handle. This can be done two ways; hanging from the back pocket on the shelf, or hanging from the clip on strap.
- Pack each shelf to 70% full.
- To close, lower the shelf into the suitcase, compress into place, and close the suitcase.
When you arrive at your destination, simply reverse these steps!

United StatesLove the closet system! This arrived just two days before my cruise. I packed everything with availble room on the sides and 40 lbs. at the airport ( I had an extra 10 lbs. to spare) I was able to buy some souvenirs and additional items to bring back home with everything fitting. We're planning a big family cruise in April and told my family that needed new luggage to buy this and they will be very happy. Great product, will be adding other Solegaard products.
