I spend a lot of time on the road. Over 50 flights a year. In 2017 I was never in the same bed for more than 6 nights in a row.
I'd like to think of myself as somewhat of a master packer and minimalist, but the same problem always comes up - digging to find whatever you need, then repacking. This whole debacle means more than 15 mins of wasted time each time you pack.
I had the idea for the Carry-on Closet back in 2016, but in summer of 2017 I was at my friends VR studio in Vancouver Canada, and drew up my concept for him in 3D - I couldn't believe it, the thing came to life in front of my eyes.
We already had an A-grade suitcase supplier lined up that is trusted by a close friend of mine - so we went straight to sampling and ordering as quickly as we could.
Ever since, we haven't been able to keep inventory for more than weeks at a time. The best problem is we keep selling out of stock!
In November 2018, we were honored to be included in TIME Magazine's Best Inventions 2018 as the only travel product.
