Official Terms & Conditions
These Program Terms & Conditions ("Promotion Terms") govern the Solgaard Lost Luggage Relief Promotion (the "Promotion") offered by Solgaard Design Incorporated ("Solgaard," "we," "us," or "our") for a limited time during the 2025 holiday season, or until supplies last. By submitting a claim or otherwise participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Promotion Terms together with our Website Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Solgaard Terms"). If you do not agree, do not participate.
The Promotion is a limited-time goodwill and marketing initiative. It is not insurance, not a service contract, and does not modify, extend, or replace any Solgaard product warranty.
1. Promotion Overview
1.1 Under this Promotion, during the limited Promotion Period (defined below), Solgaard may provide complimentary replacement luggage to eligible participants who experience an airline-confirmed baggage loss, subject to these Promotion Terms and while supplies last. Quantities of complimentary replacement luggage are limited.
1.2 There are two participation paths:
(a) Existing Solgaard customers: If your lost bag was a qualifying Solgaard suitcase purchased before the trip, and your claim is approved, we will replace it with the same model or, if unavailable, a closest equivalent model as we determine in our discretion.
(b) New customers: If you lost a checked bag from any brand during the travel window, and your claim is approved, we will provide a complimentary Solgaard suitcase chosen from a pre-selected list of approved SKUs determined by us ("Approved Models"), while supplies last. The complimentary Solgaard suitcase will be shipped to you using the provided shipping address. These shipments are not eligible for expedite shipping services.
1.3 The Promotion does not affect your rights against any airline or third party and does not assume their obligations.
2. Eligibility
2.1 To participate, you must, at the time of the qualifying loss:
- Be a legal resident of one of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia;
- Be at least eighteen (18) years old or the age of majority in your state of residence, whichever is higher; and
- Personally have experienced a qualifying airline-confirmed baggage loss.
2.2 A "Qualifying Loss" means a checked suitcase that:
- Was tendered to a commercial airline operating passenger service;
- Was lost on a trip where the baggage loss occurred between November 26, 2025 and January 2, 2026 (the “Promotion Period”); and
- Has been classified by the airline as permanently lost (or similar) in an official written lost baggage report or equivalent airline documentation.
2.3 You must submit a completed claim and all required documentation (see Section 5) so that we receive it no later than February 2, 2026.
2.4 The Promotion is open only to individuals, not companies or organizations, and is limited to shipping and service territories where we normally ship our products. We may decline claims requiring shipment to locations we do not serve.
2.5 The Promotion is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
3. Promotion Period & Limited Supply
3.1 The Promotion applies only to Qualifying Losses that occur between November 26, 2025 and January 2, 2026 (inclusive), as evidenced by airline records.
3.2 All claims must be received through the claim portal by February 2, 2026. Late or incomplete claims are not eligible.
3.3 Claims will be reviewed and, if approved, fulfilled in the order we receive and verify them. Claim approval is subject to availability. Quantities of complimentary replacement luggage are limited.
3.4 We may modify, suspend, or end the Promotion at any time, including before January 2, 2026, for reasons including but not limited to exhausting available supply, inventory constraints, legal or regulatory changes, or significant disruptions to air travel (such as a government shutdown affecting airline operations). We may also, in our discretion, reactivate or extend the Promotion as a goodwill initiative in connection with such events.
4. Participation Paths
4.1 Existing Solgaard Customers
To claim as an existing Solgaard customer, you must:
- Meet all general eligibility and claim requirements; and
- Show that the lost bag was a genuine Solgaard suitcase purchased from Solgaard or an authorized retailer before the trip on which the loss occurred.
Upon approval, we will provide a replacement Solgaard suitcase of the same model and size, if available. If it is discontinued or unavailable, we will provide a reasonably comparable or closest equivalent model as we determine in our discretion (for example, similar size and function). Color and specific features are subject to availability.
4.2 New Customers
To claim as a new customer, you must:
- Meet all general eligibility and claim requirements; and
- Show that the bag lost during the travel window was a checked suitcase from any brand (including non-Solgaard brands).
Upon approval, you will receive a unique redemption code redeemable for one suitcase from a list of Approved Models that we select. Approved Models, colorways, and features are subject to change and available only while supplies last.
No purchase is required to participate as a new customer. A prior purchase of a Solgaard product does not increase eligibility or benefits under this path.
5. How to Submit a Claim
5.1 To participate, you must submit a claim through our online portal:

We may also accept claims via any updated process described on that page.
5.2 All claimants must submit:
(a) Official airline lost baggage documentation: An airline-issued lost baggage report or similar document that identifies you, the flight(s), the baggage claim or file reference number, and indicates that the bag has been determined to be permanently lost or is otherwise not expected to be recovered.
(b) Government-issued photo ID: A clear copy of a current government-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license or passport) that matches the name on the airline baggage claim.
(c) Completed claim form: A fully completed claim form on the portal, including contact information and trip details.
5.3 Existing Solgaard customer claimants must also submit proof of Solgaard purchase, such as an order confirmation email, receipt, or invoice showing the product, purchase date, and your name (or other information we reasonably accept) demonstrating that the suitcase was purchased before the qualifying trip.
5.4 We may request additional supporting documents, such as boarding passes, baggage tag receipts, or correspondence with the airline. If you do not provide requested information within a reasonable time, your claim may be denied.
5.5 Claims must be received by February 2, 2026. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt. Incomplete or illegible submissions may be rejected.
5.6 For approved claims, we aim to process replacements within approximately thirty (30) days after we have verified all required information. Processing times are estimates only and may vary.
6. Verification & Fraud Prevention
6.1 All claims are subject to our verification. We may verify information with airlines, retailers, or other third parties, and we may require you to respond to follow-up questions or provide additional evidence.
6.2 We reserve the right to deny any claim, or to limit the benefit offered, if:
- The claim, documentation, or communications appear incomplete, inconsistent, misleading, or fraudulent;
- You do not meet eligibility requirements; or
- We cannot reasonably verify the loss or documentation.
6.3 Any attempt to misuse the Promotion, submit false documentation, or otherwise engage in fraudulent or abusive conduct may result in claim denial, cancellation of a previously granted replacement, and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.
7. Replacement Details & Limits
7.1 The only offer available under this Promotion is a replacement suitcase as described in Section 4. There is no cash alternative, store credit, refund, or other substitute benefit, except where required by law and determined by us.
7.2 Replacement value for Promotion Cap purposes is based on the landed manufacturing cost of the replacement product at the time we process your replacement, not on what you or the airline paid.
7.3 Limit of one claim per individual. Regardless of the number of trips or bags lost, you may submit and receive approval for only one claim under the Promotion.
7.4 Replacement items and Approved Models are subject to availability. If a particular model, color, or configuration is unavailable, we may provide a different model of equal or reasonably comparable MSRP and function.
7.5 Replacement items and any redemption codes are personal to you, non-transferable, and may not be sold, resold, exchanged, or otherwise transferred. We may void a replacement or code if we believe it has been sold or transferred in violation of these Promotion Terms.
7.6 We will ship approved replacements to a U.S. address you designate that is within our normal shipping territories. We will use a shipping method we select. We may choose whether to cover shipping costs for Promotion replacements; any applicable taxes, duties, or fees are your responsibility unless prohibited by law.
8. Promotion Limits & Exclusions
8.1 The Promotion does not cover:
- The contents of any lost luggage (including clothing, electronics, personal items, or valuables);
- Partial loss or damage where the suitcase is returned to you, even if damaged (unless it is also formally classified by the airline as permanently lost);
- Any non-airline-related loss, such as loss or theft at hotels, in transit to or from the airport, in taxis or rideshares, on buses or trains, or in storage facilities; or
- Any incidental, indirect, special, or consequential costs, including replacement of contents, lost vacation time, additional travel expenses, or similar losses.
8.2 The Promotion does not replace, reduce, or otherwise affect the airline’s obligations to you. You remain responsible for pursuing any compensation from the airline, insurers, or other third parties.
8.3 The Promotion is not insurance, not a guarantee of recovery, and not an extension or modification of Solgaard’s warranties, which are governed solely by their own terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Solgaard and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits or revenue, arising out of or related to the Promotion, your participation in it, or any delay, denial, or error in processing a claim or providing a replacement.
9.2 If we are found liable to you in connection with the Promotion, our total aggregate liability to you shall be limited to the MSRP of the replacement suitcase you actually received (if any) under the Promotion in connection with your claim.
9.3 Nothing in these Promotion Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
10. Privacy
10.1 We will collect, use, and process personal information you provide (such as your name, contact details, ID, and travel information) to operate and administer the Promotion, verify claims, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and communicate with you about your claim and the Promotion.
10.2 Our handling of personal information is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. Where required, we will obtain your consent before using your information for marketing beyond the Promotion itself.
11. General Conditions
11.1 Solgaard has the sole right to interpret and apply these Promotion Terms and to make all determinations about eligibility and claims; such decisions are final and binding, except where prohibited by law.
11.2 If any provision of these Promotion Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
11.3 Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
11.4 These Promotion Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Solgaard regarding the Promotion and supersede any prior or contemporaneous communications regarding the Promotion.
12. Governing Law & Disputes (New York)
12.1 Except to the extent prohibited by law, these Promotion Terms and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Promotion or these Promotion Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
12.2 To the extent any dispute or claim relating to the Promotion is permitted to be resolved in a court (rather than through arbitration or another dispute process set out in our Website Terms & Conditions), you and Solgaard agree that such action must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you and Solgaard each consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
12.3 Where permitted by law, you agree to bring any claim related to the Promotion only in your individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding.
