This all started when Adrian had an idea for a backpack with a solar panel, then he called Chris and they started jamming on ideas over late night calls. Six weeks later they launched Lifepack.
Initially our team was fully remote. Adrian was living in Spain, Chris in Vancouver, Ashley in San Francisco. Inspired by the remote lifestyle, we've managed to live lives of adventure while growing Solgaard.
The adventure took Adrian to New York, where our HQ is now based, along with most of the team.

After growing up between Norway and Canada, Adrian spent a decade testing out different countries in search of the perfect homebase, 5 languages later, in 2017 he settled on NYC.

Our team is now based in NYC, with a few remote team members all over the world. We all get together at least once a year in a country that we all want to see next. So far: Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Palma de Mallorca, perhaps Tokyo next?
